Imagine Pauze as a gentle bed for your jewellery, offering safe and elegant storage. We go to sleep, and so does our jewellery as we put it away at night. Pauze aims to romanticize this experience, and fuels our graditude for the little things in life.

Pauze is a collaborative project with jewellerist Trinidad Contreras. Handcrafted with porcelain and accentuated by 3D printed pieces, Pauze merges traditional craftsmanship with digital manufacturing. Similar to us humans, porcelain is quite fragile. We embrace this fact, by the ornamentation of the tray. The top hemisphere, ornamented with Kintsugi-inspired cracks, serves as a visual reminder that, like porcelain, we too bear our own exquisite vulnerabilities and the tray has the sentence “we’re all a little fragile” handwritten on top.
