About
Born and raised in the Netherlands, I moved to Barcelona to study Product Design at IED Barcelona. I am driven by a profound commitment to design for the well-being of people and the planet. My mission is to seamlessly unite form and functionality, creating products that delight and serve users while treading lightly on the environment.
At my internship at Amsterdam UMC, I got to experience product design from a practical point of view in the hospital. User based rapid prototyping were essential in order to accomodate to doctors, nurses & patients.
Apart from this, I also got to experience product design from other viewpoints. In the TeSI project by ATTRACT EU, we went to CERN and worked together with engineers and business students in order to apply new technologies.
Slow Light is one of my latest milestones. In a multidisciplinary team, we designed an interactive lighting installation, which was featured in LLUM BCN, Sonar+D and Fête des Lumières light festival in Lyon 2023.
