CropTracker

CropTracker is a concept application of a new photosensor called Hyger. This photosensor captures a wide range of the photospectrum, wider than existing photosensors. CropTracker applies Hyger to reduce water wastage in agriculture.

By capturing hyperspectral images through a drone, we can combine these images with external data in the form of an app. This app provides the farmer with all the data neccesary to know whether the field should be watered. By optimizing irrigation practices, water wastage could be limited and farmers could produce the maximum yield achievable.
